Coalitions for Impact kick off!
On January 29th the Coalitions for Impact launch gathering took place; an unprecedented gathering of public and private organisations, NGO’s, philanthropist funds, knowledge institutions and social impact financiers. In line with the Dutch Government’s policy note ‘Investing in Global Prospects’, this multitude of stakeholders gathered to explore possibilities of forming coalitions to strengthen societal and economic resilience in the focus countries Iraq, Jordan and Lebanon. During interactive country sessions numerous intentions for diversified coalitions, addressing various themes and societal challenges were ushered. Great energy, inspiration and unexpected synergies marked this launch gathering. The stage is set for Coalitions for Impact!

Coalitions Booster Sessions
From the 18th to the 27th of May, the Coalitions for Impact Booster Sessions for Iraq, Lebanon, Tunisia and Jordan took place, organised by Society Impact and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Thought Leaders and Action Heroes
Iraq, Lebanon and Jordan have been profoundly affected by the conflict in Syria. In order to help mitigate the spill-over effects, all three countries have been designated by the Dutch Government as focus countries for intensified international cooperation. Motivated by a shared sense of responsibility, it is time to join forces.
Coalitions for Impact official Side Event Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2019
The Netherlands and the United States jointly organised the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES), at the World Forum in The Hague on 4 and 5 June 2019.
Pressure cooker sessions
The Coalitions for Impact launch gathering on January 29th yielded a substantial reservoir of potential coalitions. In order to take these potential coalitions to the next level, Society Impact organised pressure cooker sessions. These sessions were designed to spark inspiration, identify common purpose and define respective shared missions.
